Traverse City, MI - Powdr has entered into an agreement with Heritage Media Broadcast Group to provide technical advisory and ERP implementation services to the Michigan-based organization. This strategic partnership marks an exciting opportunity for 9&10 Media to transform its financial operations through a comprehensive migration from its legacy system to Odoo, a modern cloud-based enterprise resource planning platform.
The engagement focuses on delivering a core accounting implementation designed to improve financial visibility and controls across the organization. Powdr's team will lead the effort across six key workstreams, including domain and identity configuration, security access and roles, core accounting configuration, sales system integration, expense management optimization, and additional reporting capabilities. By establishing a robust Odoo.sh cloud environment with production and staging instances, Heritage Media will benefit from enhanced system reliability, modern banking integrations, and streamlined workflows that minimize operational disruption during the transition.
Upon completion of this initial phase, 9&10 Media will realize significant operational improvements, including a fully configured chart of accounts aligned with their accounting team's requirements, secure role-based access controls with proper segregation of duties, and seamless integration between their existing sales platforms and the new financial system. The implementation also includes establishing banking partner connections, automated bank reconciliation workflows, and modernized expense reporting processes—providing the finance team with real-time visibility into the organization's financial health and enabling more informed decision-making.
This foundational implementation positions Heritage Media for future growth, with Phase 2 planned to extend Odoo's capabilities to additional departmental workflows, including product and service workflow integration, commission structuring, and expanded dashboards and reporting.
